24in48 Wrap-Up: In which I wasted half the readathon sleeping

Okay, to be fair, and contrary to my dramatic self’s expectations, I did NOT spend half the readathon sleeping and the title was an exageration because it’s my job to be a Drama Queen.

This is the second round of 24in48 that I ever participated in, and it was less fun than the first time, partly because the first time I was more excited because I had never done it before, and partly because I won a challenge back then, which was last summer, for spine poetry ! I didn’t get a prize because international prizes were all taken by the time I won one, but heck if I didn’t feel way too proud 😂

So in the end, this is how I did:

Yup, with a little rainy drama all over it.

And THIS is one of two quotes I shared on Litsy that I came across and loved on those 10 hours of reading!

The other one would be this; I entered it for the fantastic first lines challenge of Hour… 6 ? I forgot 😂

So in the end this is the whole enchilada:

Time read: 10h 06min 50s | Pages read: 518 Pages | Books picked up: Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda, The Fellowship of The Ring, The Dark Descent

I’m on The Call of Cthulhu by H.P Lovecraft in The Dark Descent ( which is a collection of horror short stories, there’s even The Yellow Wallpaper, and stories by Stephen King, Poe and Fritz Lieber )

That’s all I have to report ! Did you participate ? If not, share your favorite first line or favorite quote from the last book you finished !
