πŸŽƒOctober ’17: Wrap-Up, Recap, and Anticipations of November

Okay, so October wasn’t such a bad month. In fact, it was a great month, reading-wise ! I didn’t read that many creepy books because I was too busy sloooowwwly digging my way through The Wise Man’s Fear, which, of course, is a number of pages you don’t want to find out πŸ˜‚ Here’s what I did this month: ● Finally Watched Baby Driver and now I’m obsessed with it xD ● Participated in @ Wonderless Reviews‘ Halloween Readathon ● Got approved by Crown Publishing to read and review an eARC of Artemis by Andy Weir !! *squeals around in excitement* I’m currently reading it and will publish a review asap ! ● I now have 31 followers at the time of writing 😒 *wipes tear* I love and appreciate every single one of you πŸ’™ Each one of you made my day when you followed my little idea dump <33

What I’m anticipating in November :

  • The Tome Topple Readathon has been announced, from Nov. 17 to Nov. 31st ! If you didn’t know about it, it’s a 2-week long readathon dedicated to toppling the tomes (Books exceeding 500 pages) off our TBRs ! There are reading and IG challenges, in addition to reading sprints on Twitter ! It’s on its 5th Round. This would be my second time participating and I had so much fun sprinting with everyone last time !

  • The release of Whichwood by Tahereh Mafi, sequel to Furthermore πŸ’™ on Nov. 14 ! I’m dying for this book omggg
  • A buddy read of the Mortal Instruments with Azia @ The Uncharted Word around Thanksgiving ! πŸ’™ It’s about time I read that series XD

We’ll see what happens next month !

How was your October ? Anything spooky you read ? Any movies or readathons ? What are you anticipating for November?

  1. I haven’t heard of The Wise Man’s Fear, or of the Kingkiller Chronicles for that matter! Is it adult fantasy? I’d love to read more in that category. Also, glad to see that you read The Road! I really liked that book. It was no 5-star read for me either, but it was certainly a 4-star read. The movie, I think, is even better. So heartbreaking and perfectly cast. I really wanted to read Furthermore when it came out, but never got around to reading it. Those covers, though, make me want to get on with it as soon as possible. They’re gorgeous!! AND I AM SO GLAD I READ THIS POST BEFORE NEXT WEEK. I almost forgot about our buddy read. Thanks so much for the reminder!! Shall we get started soon?? I can get my hands on the first book by Monday!

    1. Oh my God, the Kingkiller Chronicles are SO good <333 It is adult fantasy ! The first book is The Name of the Wind. The strongest point of it is the worldbuilding, it is deep and something you'd remember for a long time ! It's known for how its magical handling of music <33
Absolutely πŸ’™ ! I am ready when you are 😍 Monday it is then 😁
